Ford rebates are always effective when you take delivery, not when you place the order. Let's do one thing first: give me your VIN. I want to check to see when the dealer reported it sold to Ford.
Per Ford's OASIS software, your truck was built 02/16/04, and reported sold as of 03/03/04 (that's your warranty start date). The rebate program started 03/02/04, so I can see no reason for them not to give you YOUR rebate. Now, do me one favor: DO NOT tell them where you got this information. I'm sure you understand why I ask that favor, right?
What about the guy's that pay cash for a new Screw, any rebate? I'm thinking of trading in my 04 with 2000 miles in on a Super Cap. Lariet. and taking the rebate. This is not the smartest way to go but, the screw is killing me on fuel milage,13.2 and I have double checked my numbers.

I don't understand: you want to trade in your 2004 F-150 SuperCrew for a 2004 F-150 SuperCab in order to get better gas mileage? Why do you think the S/C will be more economical than a Screw?
You are quite the valuable resource! So when I get ready to take delivery, I hope I can post this subject again to get the latest rebate updates. Unless, is there a place you can send me to find the current A/X/Z plan rebates?
I do not have a way to sign into the Ford A/X/Z web site. I do have a PIN, but have not been able to sign in. (not sure which name to use on the sign in window - the retiree or me).
