????? about the 370/6.1

I am having real trouble with the 351m in my bronco and I have a chance to get a 370 and I would like to know if my trany will fit on this motor....................

the 351/400m and the 385 series are the same bellhousing.

here might be a stupid ??? but will I be able to use the same parts like the maniflods and starter and motor mounts........

Pass on the 370. This has been discussed alot recently,look ahead a few pages.

The only motor part that will swap between the 351m/400 and the 370/429/460 is the distributor. The starters will work, you will need different motor mounts or adapter plates. This swap has been discussed alot, do a search.

Also, I agree with greenhighboy, pass on the 370 and try and find a 460.

If you're having real problems with your 351M, why don't you ask on that forum?

The 370 is a large truck engine, with a front motor mount, and real performance issues. No way in the world do you want it, even if you could make it fit somehow.
