haha ya i love it in the morning leaving my driveway and revin' it up, and waking everyone in the house up because i have to freggin be at work sooo **** early lol....all kidding aside, im surprised at the hp gain i got from the x pipe....sounds allot better, never heard any other truck like it...its more of a mix between a stang and a truck i call it trustang 
btw purdue...i put an updated pick of my truck in my gallery...no major mods yet (after 3 years) i finally got the exhaust done lol

lol thats awesome....i thought about putin an x pipe on mine but I decided I didn't have the money for it and as for the wakin people up......when I get older and have kids ....THEY WILL have the loudest trucks in town.......trust me..........haha that way if they come in late they will wake me up when they pull in..........I know from experience I got busted a lot because of that haha

wow I thought it would cost a lot more than that. I think for me it would because my pipes are on total opposite sides of the truck so I would have to buy more exhaust tubing and have it bent to the x pipe and then back so it would be costly and prolly more restrictive w/ all the bends

yeah as your your truck i think your right....but i had a buddy i know at a mufler shop do it for me.....my pipes are pretty much side-by-side because of the front take i had to run them on the pass side, so its kinda cool i guess...not sure how much an x-pipe costs from say a muffler shop or anything like that....its not any louder...just more throaty...ill have to record the sound and post it on here so ya can hear it

I always turn the radio off and open up the back window to hear the pipes. You can't beat the sound of a v8 over a sterieo. You guys think it would be worth the money to install a X pipe? I would think that a X-pipe would also make the engine run better. Idk, it makes sense.
It always sounds different when your not driven it. I do the same thing, I'm like yaaah!!! FORD TOUGH!!!

FARM69: i always choose my V8 over my stereo lol....i think it would be worth the $$$$ but opinions are like belly buttons.....everyones gottem. On my truck it seems to boosted the hp and sounds better...too soon to tell if it runs better....although it ran fine before the x pipe........

upon thinking about it, Borla exhausts sound really good, my neighbor has one on his v8 camaro and it has a deep and loud rumble, here that damn thing down the street. They are kind've pricey though so i dunno if thats what you'd want, prob. have to look into those, check out this sight http://www.exhaustsoundclips.com/

You see thats the thing. I'm not the wealthyst man, I can't afford to spend a crap load of money on exhaust, but you can't beat a 16$ can they call a glasspack. For the price you can't beat the sound. Plus theres not point on putting on expensive mufflers if its gonna rust out in two years. I little off topic I know.... but just my 2 cents.

Yes my mufflers do give you that old muscle car sound. I think your like me, if it's not loud, get out.
I think you should go to the absolute extreme and put on headers and run straight pipes. Man don't even say that you don't want it loud cause you do. If at that point, it's too loud for you. Then put on some mufflers. But frig, go all the way, don't think it will be too loud for you cause you'll never know.
BTW I ALWAYS drive down the road with my windows open. The GF is like "I'm cold" and I'm like sorry dear the heaters cranked! I need my daily fill honey! I need to hear the rumble. Personally for me it isn't loud enough. Plus I love driving thru the city between the buildings and letting her rip. Sweet.

moose94: all i gots to say is headers are coming! haha.....still got the stock manifolds, but heck its LOUD right now...but you know it could always be louder! Im like you man, ill roll down all the windows so i can hear the exhaust an the gf is like "im cold, and its blowing my hair all over the place, waaah" haha
