exhaust

is there much performance difference between a dual exhaust system that is mandrel bent and one that is not. i know that if your going for all out performance you need to have the mandrel bent ones but for a slighty modified engine will it be worth the extra cash and would the difference be noticeable?

Mandrel bent would be better. But i dont think it would be worth the extra cash unless ur really pushing some ponys. JC whitney has some good sounding kits, Get headers and there header system that exits in front of the rear wheels. we got it on our f-250.. it sounds awsome.

I think the most benefit you would get from a mandrel bent system would be in the upper RPM range, and how much your pushin. I upgraded from a cheesy 2" home grown exhaust to a pro bent 2 1/2", I cant tell much difference other than the tone is lower. If you are expecting a bunch more HP from mandrel pipes I wouldn't waste the $$$
