I was reading on here and some people where talking about a XLS? ive never heard of that i know there is XL XLT then you have the Ranger Custom Lariat and Explorer trims but never a XLS my truck just has the xlt trim carpet AC head liner crome moldings ont he outside whats the deal with all these names and stuff and what is so spcial about a XLS interior dose any one have a pic of one id like to see as i read there not the wood grain ones liek the xlt and the higher up ones are
The xls exterior was all blacked out, grill, bumpers, window mouldings, door handles, everything! Personally I think the exterior is kind of ugly, and perhaps that is why you don't see to many of them, and they were only an 82-83 thing. I think broncos had it too.
The interior is the cool part, instead of having the plain gray standard trim, or the xlt woodgrain, they had an aluminum finish. I think someone on here has a 82 flareside XLS with a few pics in thier gallery.
E-bay had a radio bezzel and a horn pad from an XLS. No intrument bezzel was listed. It really didn't go for much more than a good simulate wood Bezzel.
I suppose they would have gotten more if they had a complete set.
Yea, I had seen those. I don't need the horn piece, I have a sport wheel. I'd rather buy a set so they match, but also so I know I don't get stuck with just one piece.
yes i see what you are talking about now with the brushed aluminum dash and radio bezels and steering wheel it looks cool althought i kinda like my wood grain one better i have the darker color woodgrain that actully looks like wood then you got that other cheap stuff that looks like cork that stuff is ugly thanks for posting that picture 88 grandmarquis my friends mom has a 94 retired FBI grand marguis lol that thing moves has a 302 in it lmao will spin the tires on the pavment just by stoping on it wet or dry

I got a picture in my gallery of my new XLS instrument cluster panel I installed in my truck. My truck is not an XLS but I'm working on getting the interior to be an XLS...just need the radio panel and black door panels and then I'm all done!
