When you say no volts at the turn of the key, do you mean no lights or anything at all. Or just no starting. If nothing at all this could be bad cables, connections, fuseble links for starters. If you have no start but everthing comes on this could be soleniod, cable ends, starter or possible key switch. I would go thru all of my connections first.

I can only assume you've checked the basics - battery, battery cables,
starter wires, fuses, etc, etc...

Where are you getting the "no volt" reading from? The ignition switch?

yeah, dead switch, nothing ! no lights. if i showed a pic, would you agree, it may not be the batt cable ends, and be somthing else, other wise, i say yeah the stuff might look like its seen better days but should still be carrying most voltage ! even the batteries could be replaced, but that aint gonna happen today.
they still work. but yeah no lights, what now ?

witch 1 ? i see several under the hood,on the pass side.
did somthing get loose from the steering job i did last ?
is it the colunm stuff or switch , i mean no lights means it's not right ?
and do i have to test each of those links or replace em all ? all rite, i give, wheres the specs on the Ohms' checks ? dont make me do a resistence check , pleeeeez ! oooh no

BTW yes i think everything looks good. there is 12.73 on each batt. and i cleaned the dirtiest one for ya, the rest are good.

i need to find a short, i havent started yet at the interior.
until now, but wait, fuseable links go south just like that.
there are several, under the hood. how do i check them ?

Sorry I did not get back to ya. When you check fusible links you would insert the positive probe of a multitester into the wire downstream from the solenoid. Touch the ground probe to a good clean ground and with the tester set to dc volts you should get a reading of around 12 volts. If you have nothing you would need to swap out the link. This can be done with an inline fuse holder of the same amps.

Good luck to you.
