Collum to Floor?

Disclaimer: I’ve got a manual transmission and have never paid any attention to the shifter/linkage on the automatics in the F150’s so I probably have no clue what I’m talking about.
That said, I have done this conversion on a couple of other vehicles over the years and it has always been an easy conversion. Buy a floor shifter, cut a hole in the floor board, fabricate a mount, hook up the cables and you have a working shifter. Don’t forget to rewire the park/neutral safety switch from the column location to the new shifter or your truck will start in gear. To remove the old shifter, use a punch and drive out the pivot pin.

Ah yes, sounds like the instructions for my lift kit.
Please read all directions before begining the installation process.
Step 1. Remove all stock suspension components.
Step 2. Install Fabtech suspension components.
Step 3. Good luck.
But seriously Sigma, My brother just bought a Hurst conversion for his Dodge and he was able to put it in on a Saturday. Instructions are much better.
