I personally wouldnt reccomend it... I think that a 8.5'' rim would be ideal...but you may be able to do it.
Are these going to go on a non-lifted F-150?
If so, about the biggest you'll be able to run with out rubbing or trimming will be a Lt285/70R17 which comes in at about 33" tall.
