power mirrors not working right

power mirrors not working right
i have a 2002 f-150 and my power mirrors arent working right. for example if i try to move them up or down, they go at a diagonal and it takes like 5 min to do something that should take about 1 sec. its like this on both sides, i am getting ready to take it in and have it looked at, but just thought i would see if anyone has had this happen, and if so how they delt with it.

door panel
Hello all! The door panel removes with 2 screws . One is behind the garnish around the inner handle ,(soap dish) the other under the sail on the outer edge of the door , remove this and remove the screw. Lift and pull up to remove the panel. The bezel is the piece that the switch is in. It pops up and off , from the front.

I am also haveing the same troubles with my power mirrors, on both sides, just as Brillo described.
I took the bezel apart and monkey with the connections, now it seems to be working intermittantly.
They almost act as if they are now recieving enough pwr to move in one direction.
I think that it is also the switch, and this weekend I plan on replacing it.
