correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe the down pipe on the 300 includes both cats.
The factory downpipe is used with the factory manifolds (duh) but i think you will have to get a custom exhaust if you get headers for the big six. I'm pretty sure no one makes 'shorty' headers for the six that would line up... or at least i hope not
Most autoparts stores (NAPA) lists "Walker Exhaust" products. They make down pipes called "Converter Pipes".
If you are looking for a pipe, give me the make, model, year and CID. Also CA emissions or not and I can look the part number up in the Walker catalog.
I'm going to put a hedman dual outlet header on my 86 f-150 longbed with a 300 I6 and would like to run it straight into the factory cat. Is there anything you can do for me?

hey. good thinking. i've seen that before and had no idea why it was said. i guess if a thread has 0 replies and hits the second page they are screwed w/out somebody bumping it.
