Nerf Bars

Just looking to get a set of Nerf bars for my 2004 Ranger.

I've given up on buying a set from Ford, that would cost me near $400. So... I've looked on Ebay, and various accessories sites and have found a few that look pretty good.
I was liking "Westin" but I guess my application requires drilling... Don't want that.

The ones on ebay don't list a brand name, but they're stainless steel, $200 with free shipping and the feedback is excellent... It makes me wonder if they really ARE good?

If anyone has any opinions on good Nerf Bars to get, let me know!

Nalow,

I entered a few links that may be helpful. You will notice that on one of these links the instructions for installation of the westin nurf bars for a ranger does not show any drilling.

Be a bit careful with the stainless versus chrome nurf bars. Nothing wrong with the stainless but while stainless does not rust it does not have the same bright look as chrome. If you like the look of the stainless they may be fine.

The westin bars come in various levels. The entry level is not stainless but has chrome (assuming you don't want the black ones) over steel. They are guaranteed for 5 years. The platium series are chrome over stainless and have a lifetime guarantee.

I bought my westin bars from accessconnect.com. Free delivery and the price seemed competitive.

The westin bars for the F150 did not need any drilling and were very easy to install.

Hope this helps.

Chip

i have the black westin bars, they were $200 and mounted to the studs of the cab mounts (no drilling) the only thing i dont like about mine is they seem too close to the body. im going to move them out and down about 2". they look good though, matches nicely with my warn grill guard (also in black)

Check over at Gen-Edge, there's always a set for sale in the classified forum. Anything 2001 and up should fit. I have the factory ones and like them. While you're at it, check out the whole site!

I replied to that a little while ago today. Hasn't responded yet... Those were exactly what I was looking for and in the right price range too.
