Why would the base price on the same exact truck differ? I've seen #'s ranging from $29080.00 to $33705.00. Seems it shouldn't have that much variance on the same base model.
It can't be off by THAT much- they're not the same truck. Maybe one's a 2WD and the other's a 4x4. I've seen it vary by $400 or so if one truck is built in the early part of the model year, then the other was recently manufactured at a higher price.
Well, 2 that I am looking at are the same truck except one is Lariat and the other is XLT. The difference is 2140.00. I guess I was thinking that the base price was for the truck itself and the trim level price would go on top of that. The VIN is the same on both except the government check digit and the last 5 digits - which is the vehicle serial and the warranty #.
