Engine stuttering on acceleration
1988 F-150 5.8ltr 4*4 My engine is stuttering on acceleration. mostly at highway speed. from 35 or lower it runs fine. Changed fuel filter same problem. Pulled the codes: KOEO 11,11. continuous 29,33,95. Any help out there?

29 would be the code to look at the most I believe. It is a fault in the speed sensor input to the computer. The speed sensor input comes from the cruise control if the truck has cruise, and there will be a gray plug with 2 wires that comes from it and attaches to the main harness. It should be a green wire and a black wire if it is the same as my '87, and the '88 wiring harness I have. I'd also check the EGR system for problems because the 33 is saying that the computer isn't detecting EGR opening for one reason or another. It could mean that the valve isn't physically opening, or it could mean that the valve is opening, but the computer just isn't receiving a signal that it is open. The 95 probably comes from when you switch fuel tanks while the truck is running, and I wouldn't worry about that one too much.
