Does anyone happen to know what size torx bit is required to remove tailgate cable, also where is a good place to get a high quality 130-160 amp alternator. By the way i have a 1996 E.B. bronco 5.0L. thanks
Not sure of the torx bit size. but your beonco should have a ford 3G alternator. Not sure if it's the 95A. or the 130A.
Note that the 130A. is capaple of 160A.
I just went out and checked for you. I have a full set of torx and none of them fit. That bolt is actually just a big phillips head (on my 88). The vice grip idea sounds good to me.
Definatly a size T50, also get replacements for both, the new one will be a tad shorter, plus a few days after I install the driver side the damn passenger side was starting to split. Just remeber to do the one at a time
