howdy guys! i bought my 4.2 F150 used after like 6k miles but didnt have the choice to put a tach in it... well its reached the time where im tired of driving without one, specially cause its a manual. i just bought an aftermarket tach that im going to put in in a couple days and was wondering if any of you fine gentlemen might let me know what the red line is..? would appreciate it as always, thanks

The rev limiter kicks in at 5500 RPM

I would say its more like on or about 5500...Mine kicks in at 5700...no explanation why though....

haha thanks alot guys... i have been trying to find out for a while now by looking at pictures and trying to find one with a dash shot so i could see someones tach, with no success () and the dealership was no help either. thanks alot, appreciate your time and insight as always
