Service Engine Light
I have a 2000 Expedition XLT with 47,000 miles on it. I just got my oil changed and had the transfer case done as well. Later, on the same day, my service engine soon light came on. Any ideas? Could getting my oil changed, etc., be related to the service light somehow? Thanks.

Hi and welcome. Changing oil shouldn't trigger any codes. Take your vehcile to an Autozone and they'll plug in an OBDII scanner into your PCM to determine which component is malfunctioning. Or even simpler, disconnect your battery for 15 minutes, reconnect, start and drive around for 5-10 minutes. Hopefully the light won't reilluminate.
