i want to put a center console from an expedition where my center console is. I have a 5spd and i think it would look hot if i cut out for the shifter and put like a nice leather shift boot and make it seem like the shifter is much shorter than it really is. would it fit? I dont see why it wouldnt but i just wanted to ask and make sure before i pay for it.
Do you think the Expy center console is too wide for our Explorers?? You should get a '95-'01 Explorer center console and install it in your '91. It's a lot more feasible that way.
Personally I think that it would fit. The 97-99 Expeditons had a narrower consol that the newer ones because the front seats had onboard armrest. So i would give it a try. Hope this hepls
