Official SuperTech List

I was at work (Wal-Mart) today and figured I'd check out who makes the different SuperTech products. This information is straight off of Wal-Marts computer system.

Products made by QuakerState.
ST gas treatment
ST powersteering
ST brake fluid

Products made by Warren Distribution
ST motoroil
ST Gear Oil
ST 2-cycle

Products made by other companies
ST anti-freeze is made by Honeywell
ST oil treatment is made by National Interchem
ST engine degreaser/white spray grease/spray lube are made by Hydrosoil Inc.
ST oil filter is made by Champion Labs

BTW, Prestone, Dupli-Color, Powerplus, Redex, and PEP products are all owned by Honeywell.

If you have questions about other ST products, just ask and I'll find out.

that is interesting. i dont think the walmart brand is always equal to the name brand that makes it tho. remember a post on here a bit ago where a guy posted pics of oil filters he cut open-- the walmart one had nowhere near as much filter material as the name brand ones. i'm not saying they'll kill ur truck either i think most filters are designed to go past the "3000 mile" ideal. but i know walmart green beans are way worse than del monte )

This is a matter of great debate. Many people swear that QS makes ST oil. Call QS and ask them. They will tell you that they make it. Others have seen "Warren Oil" on the ST bottles.

Smile SuperTech Supplier

I am new here but I have been doing some fact finding of my own.In case everyone doesnt know,Warren oil company and Warren Distribution/Performance Pruducts are not the same company.Warren oil company is in North Carolina and Warren Dist. and Warren Perf. Prod.(WPP) is based in Nebraska.Warren Dist. is the maker of Mag1 motor oil.I e-mailed Warren Dist.(WPP) and asked them if they made SuperTech oil and they responded saying "Yes we are one of the manufacturers of Super Tech. We are Warren
Distribution and have no affiliation with the company Warren Oil. Our
headquarters is in Omaha and the headquarters for Warren Oil is Dunn,
NC. To my knowledge, Warren Oil is not a manufacturer of any Super Tech
products." This should clear up some of the SuperTech questions.

It looks like ST is made by more than just Warren. Many people believe that it is QS, and have documents that prove this.

Here is a couple of recent posts by a Shell employee at the Houston oil plant:

Well if it's Super Tech that we're talking about then yeah it's made by Shell. Let's just say I have seen it running on the line!

* * *

Quaker is owned by Shell as well as Pennzoil. The Super Tech is made in very large quantities and shipped to at least a 10 state region around Texas. A recipe is a recipe is a recipe so it stands to reason that it could be made by more than one company. In talking to some of the guys in the lab, they said that the recipe is very similar to some of the other oils made at the plant.
So, it looks like you can get Warren ST and QS ST, depending upon where you live. Looks like I get QS ST here in Texas.

Not surprising that Lone_Ranger01 gets Nebraska-Made Warren ST in St. Louis.
