OBD-II doesnt hurt youre performance. Ive never heard that before. 1996 was the first year of MAF (aside from some CA models). The rear ends are 8.8", the fronts are Dana 44s. The stock gearing for MOST broncos are 3.55s. And yes, the TTB was used. Are you looking at getting a bronco, or are you a new owner?
do own a ford though...89 F150 with the 300ci in it .. 106,000 and still running like it did from the factory!
ADDER
That is what the 300 six is known for. I often wish I had that instead of my 351W, granted the 351W has a lot more potential. 135,000 miles on my 351W, but it never seemed to have the power it should. Oh well when I rebuild it I will bump the HP & Torque up a bit.
You may have a hard time finding aftermarket products for a 96 Bronco since it was the first year (only year for Bronco) OBD-II

I have a 96 XL, 302, 78k miles. Nice truck. Good luck in your search. Where are you located? I was thinking about selling as I have a longer commute to work and need something smaller/fuel friendly!
