RAIL DUST / PAINT
I just had my truck acid washed which made it look better, but it still has little holes where the little silvers of metal were at. You can still see where they were, should I accept it and go on or should I expect more out of a truck that I paid 40,000 for.

Your truck must have been manufactored in mexico the paint on my 01 is sorry the truck was scared up when I got it but my dealer covered the spots up till I got It home and washed it a couple of times you would think ford would try to do better in these uncertain times bad workmanship will surly cause for unhappy customers and also every truck I ever had that was built in mexico has been a piece of @!$% must be somthing in the water you would think ford would be willing to honor the warranty better also seeing how they probaly dont have 50.00 in the truck labor wise everbody knows the mexicans dont make 50 cents an hour .the other trucks I have bought have all been built union people that take pride in thier work. for what a person has to pay for these trucks now make ford fix it the way you want

I just bought two new one's. an 01 F250 PSD 4x4 and an 01 mustang GT Conv. both have bad paint! They are covered with little black specks that are embedded into the clear coat. I was told it was from the rail road delivery. I bitched and the dealer had me bring them back one at a time for what they call "Apple Polishing" ??? The white Truck turned out great. The Yellow Mustang goes in 10-31 @ 8am. my fingers are crossed it will turn out as well.

an up-date on the spots on my mustang. Whatever they used it cleaned up great. If a fly landed on the hood he would slip and bust his A$$. Not a spot to be found. I did see the cost to the dealer for the polish. ($238) glad I didn't have to pay for it. but it was worth the hour drive and the 4 hours sittin around till they got done with it.
