Spark plug wire resistance testing

Thanks everyone. I think I figured it out. After a little more investigation I found that a typical wire for this vehicle should be around 4.5K to 6K ohms (4,500 to 6000 ohms) per foot. I pulled all the wires on the left side and ohmed them out. 2 were 14,000 ohms (just over 2 feet on these wires). The other 2 were 10,000 and 16,000 ohms. The one at 16K is right at 2 ft and of course it belongs to the #8 cylinder which is where I'm having a misfire. I'll change the plug wires tomorrow and let you know.
