99 SD door interior removal

99Sd SWB excab anybody ever removed their door interior on the extended cab door. I want to chage out the speakers but want the (these are the origial but sound louder than yours look)in my truck. Ive tried to remove them but their kinda akward to remove. any help i would appreciate thanks

99 SD door interior removal

Well,if its the same as the 2001 I took apart on Saturday,the upper half has pop-in clips,once you pop the upper half off,the lower has several hex head screws across the top.Once you remove these screws,simply grab by the top and lift up. the lower portion of the lower trim panel has male tabs that slip downward into female slots in the door.

thank u James. Looking at it, everything seems to be exactly the way you tell it- thank you very much, without that info, i would have probably broken the bottom pieces off, thinking they would also pop out. thanks again.
