That's exactly what I was thinking of. 50 bucks is a great deal. 200 will be about the best you can find on a new one. You sure you don't want a chrome metal one instead of the plastic one?
MustangGT: another thing to think about - I just read that mass air meters recalibrated for different injectors can wreak havoc on part throttle ignition curves. I do believe now that was what was causing all of my troubles with part throttle pinging. It might be more beneficial to get one calibrated for 19lb injectors and get someone who can change parameters in the computer to reprogram it to account for the larger injectors. Or if you can find a '93 cobra computer, it is stock calibrated for 24 lb. injectors. I found that info here, but a couple of the things he said are incorrect: http://www.offroad.com/ford/bigbronc...h/massair.html . It is still a fairly good reference, and I think I have figured out my problem. Maybe I had a bad calibration on my air meter, who knows, but it's something to think about if it doesn't work correctly.
You might want to check out Chipmaster, they do a lot of stuff with EEC's and computer components. They might be able to do something with your computer, or mine lol. I am able to get a A3M computer with harness, 59mm stock meter (replace that), with air filter, ducting, etc etc for 450..trying to get it for 400 plus shipping. I heard that the A3M is the best all around EEC to use, so thats a plus. Got my injectors for 155, and i'd be happy to get that Pro-M meter for cheap. I dont really care if it's a plastic one. As long as it works, I am not going to have much for shinny stuff in my engine compartment. My money needs to go to horsepower and not having a chrome engine compartment (would if I could cuz that's nice but, can't do it).
I can also get an MSD pro-billet distributor (MSD-8456) for $150. Is that the wrong one...do I even need a new distributor?

That's a sweet deal. The A3M is the same as the A9L that everyone wants, so you should be good to go there. Is that the mustang harness, or a truck harness? That is the right distributor, and it is really good deal, but you don't need a new one to run the mustang computer. Just make sure the piece in the distributor (I think it's called the reluctor) with the teeth on it has one tooth that's narrower than the rest for cylinder 1 - it should.
Thats a truck harness, it's ford's MAF conv. kit. This guy used the dist and MAF kit for his 340hp motor which is roller so i believe it'll work. Do you think I should get the distributor, what advantage does it have over stock?
I found a 56mm throttle body...but it has this description...
I got this throttlebody to use on my 95 Ford P/U but I never got the chance. It comes with adapters to hook the intake hoses and new base gasket. There is a small hole drilled in one butterfly was told it was to inable you to use it on a non air-flow meter vehicle. Would be easy to sodder up if not needed.
That hole has me concerned, you know what that is about?

If you can afford the distributor, it certainly wouldn't do any bit of harm. I will probably get one of those when I build my motor. I know Slikness said his timing was much more reliable after he put the MSD distributor in his '83 truck. The timing will be more accurate due to less slop in the distributor. For $150, you can't beat that - it's ~270 or so new at summit racing. I think the hole in the throttle body would be to help adjust idle speed without moving the throttle plates and the tps. I don't think it would be too much of a problem, you could put a screw or bolt in it to stop it off. I don't know about needing it to run on a non air-flow meter vehicle.
