Dual range rear end available?

Hi -

I know some larger trucks have dual range rear ends, and I was wondering if anyone makes one for a 1994.5 F-350..?? I have the 4.11 (I believe) rear ratio, and it would be nice to wind the engine down a bit on the highway.. Any leads would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!!

isnt your motor winding enough already with the 4.10's

seriously though....a dual rear would be very large and very heavy, and not a bolt in type deal. its doable but if you gotta ask, its probably not for you

I dont believe there is dual speed rear available for the size truck we run, but there is dual range auxiliary trans and one is from Gear Vendors in California. do a search for gear vendor and you can get the 800 number and probably find a dealer nearby. I had one on my 88 and it dropped the gear ratio by 22 %. Also gave me a 6 speed instead of a 3 speed. I was a "big rigger" with a lil scooter.
