LOL. my first time beating a 460. My explorer 4.0 has the borla exhaust (single pipe) i couldnt get the dual on there, and i took out the crappy cold air and replaced that with a K&N FIPK with air box replacement. I tried flooring it today out of a stoplight and it squeals tires a lot more. This K&N is like magic LOL.
anyhow, i wanted to race my friend paul again so we did it at south and five points redlight. I revved the engine a couple times, then put it in drive, turned off overdrive and floored the accelerator. I beat him at first, then i was flying through the RPM's and gears, i just held it to the floor and i took victory as we hit 85mph. i wouldve gone even faster but my radar detector was beeping.
Nah, hondas suck. Certainly, this is no racecar, butI could definitly beat you in my 3.8 mustang with borla exhaust, hooker headers, K&N FIPK, and superchip.

I'd race you for pink slips any day of the week, and I just have a old dinosaur motor
No offense or anything, but exhaust and K&N and a chip isn't all that much. It helps and is very easy to do, but to make a car that is hard to touch... you gotta do internal work
Congrats on the upgrades tho, Im sure they were worth the money, but the car isn't untouchable
390 fords are nothing to shake a stick, my uncle has one in his 57 Ford Fairlane 500 with a toploader 4 speed and a 9 inch. Nice little car, hauls too. One of my fave ford motors
