H.p ?

I am putting a cam in a older 351w rebuild, from a 91 351w, the older one is a 70, the truck is all EFI , what kinda HP will this thing have ? will it be the same as the 91 engine that came out ? thanks

what heads are you using and what intake and exhaust?

I am using exhaust manifolds from stock 91,upper and lower Intakes too but the rest is all 1970

With a combo consisting of missmatched stock stuff and unknown aftermarket stuff like a spec-less camshaft, I doubt you can get a close estimate. Why not get it dynoed if you are worried?

your 1970 heads probably have larger valves and smaller combustion chambers which are a good combo for more power.

Early 351Ws (up to approx. 73) had a taller deck height than the later ones. I would think you'd get a sloppy fit putting the later heads and intake on the early block.....i.e. poor fit of intake to heads....i.e. leakage.....
