vacumn hose

I just had my 82 ford f-150, 302, converted from 4 to a 2 barrel, i noticed a hose coming out of the back of the carb that is not connected to anything. where should it connect to?

What is the diameter of the hose? It could be a number of things but the size will narrow it down. BigGene

the hose is small, 1/8"ID

Mine has got one that size comeing out of the EGR valve. and I don't know where to hook it back up.
maby I can hook mine to the carb.

that hose might be the hose that powers the flapper valve on the air cleaner for the heated air intake

THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING, THERE ARE TWO INLETS ON THE BOTTOM IF THE AIR FILTER BODY ALSO ON THE SNOUT OF THE AIR FILTER BODY THERE IS A SMALL CANISTER THE SIZE OF A SNUFF CAN WITH AN INLET FOR A VACUMN LINE. SO MANY CHOISES ONLY ONE HOSE!!!
