Tuff Country 2 1/2" leveling kit??

Okay, here's the info. I didn't measure the truck before I took it in, but I'm pretty sure it lifted it right at 3 inches. They put 2 1 3/4 F350 blocks in the rear, and it's dead level. The height to the top of the front fender is 43". The truck had a 1 3/4 inch rear block before the install. The cost was $422 including tax. I know I could have bought the kit for about $250 plus the rear block, but I figures it was worth the $$ to have someone else put it on, especially with a lifetime warranty. I can't tell any difference in the ride. The guy that did the install says that he's put a couple of dozen of these on, and has always been satisfied with the result. You can run 305's on the stock rims with no rub. He says 315's will rub the front leafs on a hard turn. The finished product looks good. Now all I've got to do is get some bigger rubber. Those 265's look mighty small in those great big wheelwells.

Thanks alot for the follow-up info. I hope it looks like you expected it to. While I was waiting for your results I looked around at some different stuff, searched this site for past info and have come to this conclusion.....IM SO CONFUSED !!!
I called several different vendors and asked about different stuff and got so many different "opinions" that I am about to give up.
You say they put "2 1 3/4 f-350 blocks" in the rear. Is that in addition to the 1 3/4 F-250 blocks that were already there? I hate to keep on about this but one place I call says you need a block, the other says you need a Add-a-Leaf, and another says you dont need to do anything to the rear, that the 2 1/2 kit is meant to level the truck by itself.
My truck is a F-250 SD Crew- Cab 4x4 5.4L w/ 1 3/4 rear blocks. It sounds like what you did is what I want but with all the different stories I have gotten I don't want to screw up and buy the wrong kit.
What do you think?

Hjudge49 - thanks for keeping us up on your progress!! I think that I'm gonna go ahead and get them for my truck. Did you end up with any bumpsteer or anything?? It looks like the kit just has something to change the panhard rod but nothing for the steering - any issues? I don't think I trust to stack blocks on my truck - but I already have f350 blocks so I'm hoping I can get away with an add-a-leaf in the back.

I already had one 1 3/4 block and the towing package which adds a leaf. The installer was going to add a 1 inch block, but it wouldn't be level. He does a lot of lifts for the local Ford dealer and is very happy with this kit. I don't notice any steerign issues. I took the truck in for alignment this morning. It felt okay, but I figure it never hurts to check. He did tell me that just about every truck he lifts turns out different. I guess it depends on the weighs and condition of the springs.
