Auto Trans. With Bigger Tires

My past trucks that have been lifted all had manual transmissions. This time around, I have an automatic transmission (bought an 04 F250 with 6.0). I am curious as to if the transmission will still shift at the correct times. Planning on running 4" Skyjacker lift with 315/75R16 on 10" wide rims. The dealer informed me that they can reprogram computer for this tire size. But, from reading the forum, it sounds like that will only correct the speedometer and I assume the odometer. So, will I experience a problem with the transmission and does the fixing the computer affect the transmission.

with that size tires and that powerful eng.. i would not even worry about it.. you wont notice a diff. have the dealer reprogram the speedo, than can do it up to 35ish size tires.. they charge between $50-$75
