Have other SD owners noticed that when you open the door to get out, you get rained on by dew or rain which has collected in the trim of the door? Two of my SD owner buddies mentioned they noticed this also. Perhaps its the New England climate we live in? Any fixes?
I'm sure the Chevy boys are working so hard and sweating so much that they wouldn't notice such a thing, but I do.

Wear a hat??
I, too, live in New England (MA) I blame everything on the weather...
I`ll have to agree with you on this one SecondBass, and with the window down a little bit the water falls right on the switches..
Does anyone know if the visors will fix this problem ?

Absolutly!!
I was PISSED everytime the truck was wet and I rolled down the window for a smoke and my switches and arm and door panel got SOAKED!!
I installed the ventvisors on all 4 windows last week and they work great!! No more raindrops!!! I can roll my window down about halfway and not get anything in. It also keeps out the water off the windshield wipers I used to get in there too.
You guys are right- the visors are a "must have" item. However, they won't keep the drips off you when the door is opened. Ford really needs to put some kind of gutter/channel across the top of the cab- like on the "old" trucks.
I always love it when you open the door and 6" on snow drops on your head I guess thats the price we pay for aerodynamics....I remember my old 78 F350 it had a gutter on the roof just like my house does...
