i have to mash ot the whole way most of the time then the engine kicks in really hard and revs to about 3000rpms i have aol instant messeger

thanks for the help

i notice when i first start the truck up it gets great power. only after it warms up is when i notice the power loss big time..

Now that sounds like it could be a vacuum prob. When the engine warms up, the metal relaxes and could be a bad gasket that is allowing a vacuum loss. After it warms up, try spraying a bit of starting fluid around the base of the TB. If the engine falters, then you have found your leak.
