Arrow Lost Power?

In an earlier topic, I described a major fuel leak, which turned out to be a bad seal on top of the fuel filter. The dealership "pressure tested" the fuel pump and had them replace the fuel filter, etc. The results were good. But NOW it seems that the truck doesn't have the same power as before. I even felt a little hesitation a couple of times! What's going on here? Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Steve

Maybe some garbage got in your injectors, have you tried using power service or anything like that?

No, is that some sort of fuel injector cleaner? The throttle response just isn't the same anymore

Oh, I forgot, is it possible that when the Fuel filter was replaced that a wire or some setting got mixed up? I have a Banks pkg on the truck.

Also, I failed to mention that the transmission was just replaced also...

I was at a performance shop today talking about 5.0 stuff and I noticed that the owner had a 2001 PSD all tricked out. I mentioned to him that my truck doesn't seem the same since my fuel filter and system pressure test. He said it could be possible that the Ford Dealer may have lowered the fuel pressure.

Is the fuel pressure adjustable? How so and how would I get it back to the way it was?

Thanks

Your fuel system took a big slug of air when they opened up the fuel pump lines. That may be all it is, and will work itself out in a few days.

Thanks Cookie, but is there an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on the 97 PSD?
