Hey guys, before we start to string Cat man up, check out the original post date, he probably didn't know much them, Leroyc must have found it through a search with the new, improved, more confusing to the new search engine. Chad's post could have been anyone of ours in 2004.
Oops. I guess I'm the one that should be strung up for replying to his question without looking at the date when Leroyc asked his question in an old thread.
Yeah, I missed it to until Rubber Duck pointed out that Cat Man used to be here a bunch and that didn't work with the question he was asking. The new search feature defaults to revelance and not date. Easy to pull up old threads if you don't look.
haha 4 years ago wow i jus found this on google. zx wat does the ipr nut do and wat if its stripped
Look on the pictures I posted on page 2. The second one shows a closeup of the IPR and you can see the nut on the end. It hold the soleniod part of the regulator in place. you can see it from the top side of the engine with the fuel filter plastic cover thingy removed. If it is stripped, find something else that will thread on and hold it all tight. If it moves any, it will send false signal to pcm. I think the picture is clear enough to tell if yours is right.

Good eye Barry. I knew I hadn't seen Chad in a good while, But I've seen his rig LOL. And the questions he was asking didn't add up. But you are 100% correct, back us up 4 years and questions like that become more relivant for us. LOL I kept going back and reading it over trying to find a joke in there or something to let us know he's pulling our leg. But I never stopped to look at the date. Hopefully he'll see this and come holler at us and tell us where he's been. Alright, I'm headed back to the OBS where apperently I should stay!!!! LOL
thats what i thought in post 29..thanks for telling us the fix....glad she run's good again and didnt cost to much....try using shims if you want to bump up the psi....

Your 1211 code is probably from you holding down the throttle for more than 7 seconds with the bullydog. Common issue on a chip / tuner that you can ignore unless you want to start spending some serious $$$ to make your truck really fast.
The 0344 is telling you the CPS needs to be replaced? Have you had the recall done yet? The other possibility is the connector or wiring on the CPS.
