Run to the store and buy a Haynes manual. It should have some diagrams in the back. If you got the right harness, everything should be plug and play.

I am assuming you want to use the original guages? These are electrical.

I would get everything hooked up first, and then write back and we can test your guage circuits. The factory guages rarely go bad. it's usually the sending units. The temp unit is mounted in the engine block, and the fuel sending unit is in the tank.

Like I said, get it all wired up, and the if they don't work, we can run a test and figure out whats wrong.

Thanks for Your Help!!!...
Very Much Appreciated!.

As I sit here, I'm dreaming of doing this, Something I've never done before, but after 'watching' these American~Choper~Shows, I feel Inspired and 'know' that I can re~wire this Truck!..and do 'so much more' to IT!

Yes I do want the 'original equip.' to Work!!!
I feel that the 'wiring' was 'barraged' by a band of 'trailer-trash-hillibillies' wanna be-amateur-mechanics, nonetheless...anyhow...
I digress...

So,I should then just 'probably' get this Haynes Manual?...

the 'wiring-diagram' will be There, then I follow that and make 'sure' everything is 'hooked' up.

Okay, One Prob!
The Fuse-Box is Garbage...they have 'alluminum' connecting the 'connections' and its all warped and cracked...it still might work...but what should I do with my 'test light' well to be honest, i tested all the connects...and only one of them 'registered' hot...so...*cough*...I know the 'wiper switch' is 'out' it doesnt turn and seems broke, but when I first got the truck about 2 weeks ago...for about 3 minutes, all the dash-board-lights were ON!!!...then it was no more...

with my test-light, and other 'cheap electronic-test-stuff' to buy at CHECKER or WHEReVER???
and?|

I'll send a Pic of this Beautiful-Truck.
A Great Work of Art!, SOON to Me!...

you're talking complete harness??--from the wrecker??--good to see confidence!!--better allow 2 days though. If yer lucky, that's all it'll be as I say,I just did the same, and to get ALL systems going,it took me..130 hours...
g'luck mate, tell us how it goes!

I'll give you that hint again.....be sure that the harness is same year, same engine, same accessories......any differences WILL add complications
