If I see , I delete that post which subracts from the post count.

So what is the big deal with post count anyway? Is it a sign of manhood? Am I missing something? I read 10 - 20 times as many threads as I post in. I only post when I want information, can provide advise, or when a particular topic really strikes my interest. And even with that I have quite a few posts since just November 03. But I haven't posted just to get a number. I honestly could not tell you how many posts I have with out looking. I don't get it!
