Transmission fluid refill
I just serviced the transmission in my '01 Ex. I drained the touque Converter, blew out the cooling lines with compressed air, changed the filter and refilled with 15 quarts of Mobil 1.
When checking the fluid level when hot, it seemed to be a little above the full hot zone. I opened one of the cooler lines from the radiator, drained 8 oz., and checked. It seemed to be in the safe zone. When I checked it today when hot, the fluid appeared to be above the safe zone again. The owner's Manual says that this trans holds 17 quarts dry. Have I overfilled it? What is the danger? Any help would be appreciated.
