just a quick ? bout my engine!
I have a, i believe its a "78" Ford F-150. I rebuilt the 351 M 400 engine and but a high performance kit into, i dont want to get into details. The engine is real nice but the body is real real bad, beyond repair i believe. I was thinking of putting the engine in a Bronco? Would that work and if so what year would be the best fit!

Some 1980 Bronco's were also available with the 351M and it would be a bolt in. But it was the transition year from one bodystyle/eng to another and they seem to have been available with at least 3 different engines and transmissions. be careful about lift kits. Ones that fit are scarce for 1980 year Bronco's.

Go with the 78 or 79 bronco, that was when Ford started baseing the Bronc on the F-150 design. Kinda like a apples to apples deal. Besides 78 Broncos are bad man. Have fun with it and enjoy. -wb
