pulls while braking, need advise

Hey all, I have an '87 bronco that pulls to the right when braking. The weird thing is, is that it doesn't do it consistently. Some days you won't even notice it, and others it seems really bad. I was just kinda living with it until one day a car cut me off and I was doing about 45 mph. I jumped on the brakes and the truck literally yanked me into the right lane. I went ahead and replaced the pads (they didn't look to bad and the wear was even.) The rotors looked ok and while I was at it I repacked the wheel bearings. The sliders seemed a little rough so I smoothed the dings and lubed them. I did notice that while bleeding them that the right caliper just kinda oozed the fluid out instead of your normal squirt. The brake lines looked ok IMO. Not sure if bad alignment would make problem feel worse, but it drives pretty darn straight. Anyway after doing all that nothing has really changed so what do you all suggest? Should I just go ahead and throw new calipers on?

Sounds like maybe one of the calipers is sticking.

Could just be the TTB.

Hey, I see that you're in Medford. I live in Grants Pass. Howdy neighbor

Check the seals for the slave cylinders. Kits are cheap and worth the time for the work. Could be that your left slave is not moving as easily as it should be so the right is grabbing first. That would cause the inconsistence in the problem. Get new seals and slave cylibers and replace em. Cheap and easy fix.

you may also want to go ahead and replace the two rubber brake lines, they may look fine but under pressure if one of them is swelling it will reduce the brakeing force there fore cause it to pull to one side, seen this happen before. Good luck DW
