what's the difference?
what's the difference between a "super" camper special and a camper special?
i know mine is a F350 camper special but is it "super" ?

A super camper special has a higher towing capacity, and a 7" longer wheel base.
They are very rare.

Yeah, but unless it has the Super Camper Special emblem on the cowl or fender, I highly doubt it.
You can look on your rating or data plate, where it says wheelbase, the SCS would be 140", it was only offered in a long box configuration.

The cowl is the vented piece of metal between the windshield and the hood.

Super campers also have the panel in the box side, passenger side, for the spare tire.

SCS's are the only ones that have that. so if your's does, its a SCS.

Not to change the subject, but does anyone know how many Super Camper Specials were made from '73 - '79. That's what my '77 is also. Thanks!
