Question Jacob mileage master

I did some reading and found a product that is said to improve gas mileage, it's called a mileage master by Jacobs. Has anyone used this. Does it work or is it a waste on money and time. 1995 4x4 crewcab 460gas.

my dad used it on his 1992, f150,4x4, 351 v-8 his exact words were " i would get better gas mileage if i drive at 55 mph". he was not happy with it at all. he saw a 2 mpg gain. as for your truck remember you have a 460 v8 under that hood those engines were never ment to produce great gas mileage. i hope my information was helpful.

shoot, 2mpg will add up real quick. and especially when gas is up to $2.00 in certian places. But true the 460 is not meant for good gas mialage. i also have heard conflicting stories about them, soom real good. some real bad. more good though.

There are a lot of bad reviews of Jacobs stuff on various BBs. Serious reliability/quality control issues.

Seems like 2MPG on a 351 4X4 is pretty significant, I would guess something like 15 to 20%...

Pulling a 16' trailer with two zero turns I get about 8mpg. Empty I get about 10 mpg on the interstate. 2 mpg would mean alot as much as I drive in a season. Thanks everybody for yout input.
