Jacobs Ignition Systems
Just wondering if anyone has used JACOBS ELECTRONICS ignition systems, Good or Bad or worth the $$; Mileage Master or Pro Street? I was thinking about installing a system on a 460 street sleeper in a F250

........I'm interested to know more about these systems,especially the mileage master ....do they have a good effect on an otherwise stock '85 460 engine??--what kind of cost for what kind of enhancement??

I installed a jacobs set-up about 10 years ago and it still works on my 77 F250 with no problems. But i did not notice any big increase in mileage, i would it is about the same. The one feature i do like about it is that you can just flick a switch in the engine compartment and go back to the oem system. So in a sense you have a back-up if something goes wrong. Dont waste your money.
