Hey fellas,
One tip and one question.
The TIP: when you install an FIPK with the thick silicone hoses, make sure you re-tigten the hose clamps every few days or so until they won't tighten anymore. The hoses need to be seated so no trash gets in!
The QUESTION: has anyone installed an airraid TBS and do you get a wierd whistling sound from the intake at different RPM?
Just installed one and at about 3/4 throttle at 2600 & 4000 rpm I get a whirring/whistling sound briefly. Checked all connections, gaskets, bolts, clamps, etc. The salesman at local shop where i bought it said it might do this because of the "vortex" created by the spacer. Everything seems fine w/ motor acceleration sound, no troublelights.
I just don't want to damage my motor.

ive got cold air intake and it did that weird whistling/wheezing noise coming from my filter, but mine did it at about 1200 rpm...never heard of your prob tho...maybe someone will respond....good luck
