2. Go to a shop where you know the guys and ask them to do it for free(big maybe some places)
3. Unhook the battery for 15 min come back and maybe it will go away(dont really do that )
4. Buy a code retriever, not too expensive. Tell the guy at the counter at a parts shop you need a code reader/retriever for your X. Search for one on line, they have ones that will just give you the # and you can look it up online too!!!!
I bought a code reader. When I ran the test there are no codes associated. That is why I am a bit confussed. I haven't done the battery thing yet because I was hoping not to loose the code. Is there a manual test, or is it all linked through the ODB II?
