I have a 99 F-150 supercab 4.6L V8, I'm looking into buying a tornado fuel saver to help save on gas. Anyone tried one of these things or have any suggestions.
don't waste your time those things are total bull$&*# they claim to add 24% more power and 15% less fuel consumption but in actuallity they don't do a damn thing except restrict airflow. there have been many tests done to prove that these things don't work. if you want to save gas i'd recomend a good air filter and changing your driving habits. a hood deflector and a box cover help reduce wind drag some but to the best of my knowledge there is no one thing you can bolt on that will result in huge gas savings. don't believe everything you see on t.v. at 3 in the morning if all that stuff did what they claim it would be factory installed. if you realy need to save gas get a ricer!!
