I HAVE AN O4 250 WITH X SPRINGS I DONT NEED THIS STIFF OF A SPRING LOOKING TO SWAP THEM OUT FOR ONE THAT WILL RIDE SOFTER BUT I DONT KNOW WHICH CODES ARE SOFTER ?

The springs are "S" through "X", S being the softest, X being the hardest (could be more past X, Y/Z?)
I have the T springs (heavy service suspension) and they are decent in a SC SB 4x4 F250 with Rancho 9000x's set to 7 out-of 9.
My truck has already settled an inch or so, over 17K miles, since I got it new in '02.
I wonder if you should just drive it for a while until they settle and see what they are like at that time? Otherwise, find someone who wants to trade on here... I'm sure someone would be willing to give you a set of lighter springs in return for the X springs
