It's hard to keep track of all the class changes. If the FCC decides to adopt ARRL's recommendations to add Novice again and drop code for everyone but Advanced/Extra, it'll be a real mess. I'm Tech class and could be General quick if code wasn't involved, but I think that challenge should be there. If only I wouldn't mix up my R's and K's!
One of the new guys to the hobby - Just got my tech license a couple months ago - KC0REK - Although I've had the opportunity to participate in some HF contests with the local club so I"m hoping to upgrade to general this summer when I have some more time to study. Currently don't have a rig and use the universtiy's shack until I can afford my own.
