The Fcc is\would like to confiscate some our Frequencies and sellout to commercial interests if they could figure out how to do it with any bad PR. It's hard to keep track of all the class changes. If the FCC decides to adopt ARRL's recommendations to add Novice again and drop code for everyone but Advanced/Extra, it'll be a real mess. I'm Tech class and could be General quick if code wasn't involved, but I think that challenge should be there. If only I wouldn't mix up my R's and K's!

One of the new guys to the hobby - Just got my tech license a couple months ago - KC0REK - Although I've had the opportunity to participate in some HF contests with the local club so I"m hoping to upgrade to general this summer when I have some more time to study. Currently don't have a rig and use the universtiy's shack until I can afford my own.
