Driveshaft Help?
I need a drive shaft for my Panel. It's a 1954 F 100 6 cyl 3 spd. What other trucks, years or models, would have the same one? What is the length? I've read on here that the pickups and panels have the same frames so I'm assuming the drive shafts could be interchangable. Any input would be appreciated or if you might have one laying around...... Thanks

Check out your wheel base , that should give a starting point. Find a similar year, w/b and compare for length. If trucks have the same w/b as your panel then measure to make sure there is room for suspension travel for the yoke to move in and out of the transmisson out put shaft. Don`t know how much is needed but suspect 1 to 1.5 inches.
