Question speedometer cable removal
I am changing the clutch and the only thing that is holding me up is removing the speedometer cable. I think it's the speedometer cable. It is the cable that is pretty stiff and goes in to the driverside towards the front and top of the tranny. tranny is one of those mazda 5-speeds. I don't know if it just pulls out or what. Hopefully it comes out easily. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Speedometer cable goes to back of trans on 2wd, back of transfercase on 4wd. What you describe is the hydraulic clutch line. It has a quick disconnect fitting you remove with tool #T88T-70522-A or equivalent.

Tahnks a lot. The clutch kit comes with the tool to remove that. I geuss I'm good to go then. Thanks again.
