Got an engine light and the P1211 code after a hard pull today. After I got back into town, the light went out and the return trip had no lights. I just replaced an ICP sensor, and I think the 1211 points to the fuel pressure regulator. Could my new ICP be bad and maybe throw a bad fuel pressure regulator code? Anybody have any ideas?
P1211 ICP Not Controllable - Pressure Abow/Below Desired
When you removed the ICP sensor to change it you let air into the high pressure oil system. If an air bubble got trapped under the sensor it would lose it's reading and set the code. It usually takes a few days to get all the air worked out of the HPO system.

I think I will clear the code and see if it comes back. It is not a continuous code, so it is possible that if there was air trapped, it has cleared. I find it hard to believe that a new ICP sensor is bad....it is a pretty simple device....not cheap, but simple. I will give it a few days before I go any further. I know I passed the first steps of the pinpoint for this code. If it comes back I will go through a few more. Thanks
Some folks always always have a 1211. It's often set whith the use of chips/programmers, resistors and the like. Were you getting the code stored before you changed the ICP? It may be your tuner causing it.
