hi every one i have a 1986 ford f150 4x4 truck the tag on the raer end is 313d 50 9 6j10 there is a stamp on the left hand side 3h12 can iny one tell me what kind of raer end this is and what gear thanks.
Some of the older codes are not on that chart, but it works for most of us with 86 model years. The axle code will be on the door tag of the truck next to the axle weight rating.
Check your tag again. My spec book isn`t showing a 313d. Look on your door pillar on the driver side. If it has the white tag on it approximately 3" x 4", see what the axle code is. As far as I can tell, 6j10; 6=year - 1986, j=month - October, 10=day of the month. 9= nine inch Ford rear-end. Is there maybe a 3 in front of the 50 or maybe a 3L in front of the 50? Where is the 313d located on the tag? Could it be 318? 3h12 may be a build date for the housing. Is it on the housing, tube or tag? Also give us a little more info as to where each number is located on the tag. Good luck.
So do you have a 1981 model truck or a 1986? You will have to spread some of those numbers out so we can tell what they go to. Example; Axle = 14, Build Date = 11-81, DSO =8. Right now, most of the letters and numbers you have make no sense. Also you said you have a 1986 but your sticker says it was built on 11-81. Which is it? Axel code 14 in my 1982 and 1986 spec books show a 3.00:1 gear ratio. I have no idea where you got the fo38l and the t1oo4 from. Try typing what each block represents and the code that is below it. Separate all of this from each other and we`ll see if we can help you a little better.
thank you the numbers i gave you was to a truck i got for partes my truck is a1986 ford f150 half tone. there isint a tag on the door but on the rear end there is one 313d 50 9 6j1o.
